Hello folks,
The wife and I just bought an 08 XB box. Since I am in the business of designing, fabricating and selling aquariums I tend to think that since we bought the Hypnotic Teal Metallic it kind of favors and aquarium filled with reef water ;)
So, to be honest, I am a go fast guy but this car is not meant for that but yet it still seems to surprise me in how capable it is. I know that it is no rocket (I have owned those) but it seems to provide plenty of passing power and drivability although I am a bit disappointed in the gearing (seems to hunt sometimes).
Also, my gas mileage hasn't been the best but the car only has 400 miles on it so I would expect that with break-in that will increase as parts loosen up and become lubricated.
Anyway, thanks for the website and contributions. I think I'll find myself here often.

Thanks for the offer. Maybe we'll meet up sometime. Do you know if there are any Austin area Scion sites? Im wanting to do a few things to this car already and I just got it. I am going to be staying TRD to keep the warranty but I need to do something.

I think scikotics has a austin area chapter....that or its DFW chapter. im not sure but check that out
