really good coat of wax helps prevent paint scratches. not much else you can do, some protective films and leather bra on the front...side molding to prevent door dings. but get used to it.

#1 reason i hate washing my tc is because i always find a new scratch.

you can also be very selective with where you park to minimize the chances of somebody accidnetally scratching it.

Yeah it sucks finding new scratches, but I think it's unavoidable!

Even when I use perfectly clean microfiber towels, avoid dragging them, top down cleaning, everything!... I get swirl marks. But im getting over it and just gonna deal with it. Best I can do is try my best to keep the buildup low!

It seems like the paint on the new xB scratches and chips more easily than any car I've owned. I am not impressed with its durability.

Invertalon,
are you going to do the Meguiers three step?
By hand?
If you are it's going to take you more than a few hours! Especially the polish stage.
Do yourself a favor and get a buffer, it will go tons faster and with far better results.

On swirl marks from washing, wash in straight lines, not circular, it won't eliminate marking but will make it less noticeable. And use two large buckets, one with your soap solution, one to rinse the towels between each soap dip.
