I've talked some smack about the 2nd Gen xB in the past on this forum but after attending our Auto Show, here in Chicago, I must admit...I'm REALLY liking the 2nd Gen xB...
I like the interior layout and the roominess too and not to mention it feels like it has more interior space. I don't know what to do cause I'm thinking I want to buy one but I wanna keep my 1st Gen xB too. I'm trying to get my wife to buy it but she doesn't want another car note and I can't blame her either. I'm probably gonna reamed by the Gen 1 xB guys for wanting to even think of buying a Gen 2 xB but I don't care. I can dream...

 

well word of advice never judge a book by its cover. both gen are XB. majority of us do not care what you drive as long as it is a scion. not everyone will like the 1st gen or the second gen. drive what you like to. but don't knock what other people like..

wel slowly pull you to the dark side of the XB line.....lol test drive a few of them and see if you truely do like it or you just like the newness of it

 

The XB1 forum is going to disown you now for liking the Xb2 .

Funny how Gen2 folks can like Gen1 but not so much the other way lol
I made my mother buy her Gen1, suits her fine. Underpowered for my purposes. I waited, Gen2 here I am.
Sooner or later the power of the dark side (the engine and safety features lol) will seduce you young SkyWalker...

Give me the Gen1 styling, a VAG 1.8t engine and the Gen2 safety features and I'm pretty much done. Gen2 was closest I could get. Too much highway driving with fast, crazy South Florida drivers for me to get the Gen1

I don't get the whole g1 Vs g2 about hating one or the other. I liked the G1 but when it came out, I bought the G2 and love it and all the...accessories that makes it your own. I just don't see the point in someone hating and knocking one or the other. Everyone has different taste...If I could affourd it I would have both. I hate to hear that someone can judge you for having one oe the other. Why can't we all just get along. They both are Boxes !! So they made a few changes, big deal.... There is nothing like seeing a custom Scion no matter what year it is.... Can I get a Aman!!

I made this topic just to mention that I'm starting to really like the Gen2 xB since I sat in it at the Auto Show...that's all!

 

i had a gen1 and now i have a gen2 each has its perks like the gen one is the original slow and in the past
gen two has power alot more features and face it its hot

 

something both gens can agree on. ricer cars sux. now where is my cookies. oh wait upstairs.

can somebody on here post pics side by side of gen1 vs gen2 i'm new to the xb's and i'm having a hard time telling the differences
