We found one on the east coast and are having it shipped to the west coast, a total of 3023 miles. Everyone cross your fingers..We need the luck right about now. My wife was "crushed" when here 9 month old RS 8.0 was totaled by a negligent driver in a ford f-350 back in March...

First off...glad everyone was OK when you crashed your first RS8
Secondly, I knew this day would come when I found the guy that swiped my RS8 number 823 out from under me!!
I was the guy that was looking at this car when you called the same day I was trying to make a deal with Stephen auto mall in Bristol CT!! This car number 823 was in their lot for over 1 year and what were the odds that someone would leave a deposit on a car from 3000 miles away on a Saturday night just a half hour before closing time??? I drove an hour each way to look at that car and when I called the dealership on Monday to tell them I would take it and they told me that someone from Oregon left a deposit because they had crashed their rs8 and wanted to replace it.. I could hardly believe it!! I mean wtf?? really?

check out entry number 26! I was SO ____ed I kicked my cat! had I left the deposit that day number 823 would have been mine!!
But I'm ok now, but just wanted to let you know that I was that guy negotiating that day.. lol
In the end it all worked out, I was able to obtain number 1648 for the same price you paid. And at a dealership that was a closer to me(only 40 miles), I had to twist their arm to sell it to me for the same price but they gave in.
Good luck with that car ..it had 59 miles when I looked at it and it was really cool to see it inside the dealership under the lights.
by the way if anyone is interested in a new 2011 RS8 there are at least 2 more in the NY area.

Isn't the 2011 RS the only XB that has a factory sunroof? I don't know why that option is not offered for regular scion XB's. Toyota is trying to get young folks into the brand. Sun and fun is what those folks are about. You could get a sunroof in a Toyota Paseo and Tercel in the 1990's and those were cheap cars so why not offer one in the XB?

Joebug, that's awesome!! Nice to meet you, internet dave from the dealership told me the story...? Well it made it here to Oregon and has 180 miles on it now. Plus the 3600 mile trip.. We won't count those!!! Have fun with #1648!!!

She runs great. Changing the oil today. Not sure they changed it and its cheap insurance to have new oil in it anyways. Loaded the back window up with cool stickers like the last one. Waiting for the new wheel to replace the damaged one and the spoiler and the TRD lowering springs... Gonna get here back to "normal" Also talking to Tom at performance scion in Ontario Canada about shipping us the Rukus bug guard.
