Default I'm finally an official XB owner

My 2009 BBC showed up today at my house on a flatbed truck with 3 miles on it and a full tank of gas! Woohoo!! I've put 101 miles on it today and will add about 1400-1500 this week with a trip to Florida.

What does he mean by "Break in?" I thought they didn't have a break in period? I have a trip from Florida to North Carolina in about a week. Thanks in advance!

Congrats and welcome. Are you going to do anything about that dealer sticker above the "xB" badge? It drives me crazy when they do that. Dealer license plate frames are bad enough but easily removed. Stickers are even worse!

You should tell them it's fine to have the dealer sticker on there, but you will have to charge them $12.95 a month advertising fees.

Thanks for the comments! Modding will be slow. The biggest thing I want is to improve the stereo. I had some equipment in my Grand Prix so I'm not used to the stock stuff at all. It's decent for now, but that will probably be my first move.

I just got back home from the trip to Florida and I now have 1714 miles on it. I left out last Sunday morning so I just now checked the replies to the thread.

Yes the sticker does suck. Are there any easy ways to get it off? I'll do a search tomorrow Cionide so be easy on me!

After 6 fillups I'm averaging 30.018 miles per gallon. The most I've put in the tank at any one time has been 10 gallons. I was using the A/C quite a bit on the trip with about 800 pounds in the car with four people and cargo.

Hey there Xfists, I had been wanting one since last summer so I had to wait on it myself. It's been a great car so far and I'm looking forward to tailoring it to my liking.

Well I got the dealer decal removed. I used a fresh razor blade and a nice steady hand. I got the blade up under each letter just a bit then pulled it off with my fingers. Since the decal was less than two weeks old it came off very easily.

Thanks Kiiski! Since there wasn't a red color option, the BBC was my choice from the first time I looked at the color choices.

I have a weird question. When I test drove an '08 xB, I remembered the guages being red. Why are those orange?
