Default Ladder Racks?

I know Roof Racks can be put on an XB, but what about something capable of carrying ladders?

I work as a Sat Installer, and typically carry a little giant ladder inside my XB for work. It's not super long, as the length at shortest is only about 6ft, though it extends to 22.

Wanting to create more room inside my vehicle though by putting the ladder on top. Alot of the roof racks I see are more for recreational items such as bikes and snowboards.

An XB may seem an odd work vehicle but with gas prices these days I've found it to be ideal.

I have seen quite a few Scions with regular ol' racks with ladders strapped to them...is there any reason you dont want to use Yakima/Thule type rack to attach your ladders to? If you use a lil common sense while strapping them down so the do not slide foward or backwards, they should be fine

Oh BTw, I have scen alot of Xb's used as work trucks...mostly be people in the similar kind of work as yourself.

You could even get one of the hitches and use one of the hitch mounted platforms used for coolers and bicycles. I think it would work quite well.
