Lowest mileage record?
My 2012 xB is a year old tomorrow, I'm taking it in for it's second Oil change at 4800 miles
Is this low amount of miles in a year a Forum record?? Anyone done less?

I'm more focused on the "second oil change at 4800" comment. That first batch of oil you are always going to want to leave that in a brand new engine. You should never be quick to change it the first time. It is very important that the same oil works and breaks down in a new daily driver engine. You want the same oil to work with the internal components at least the four to five thousand mark even though you don't drive it that often and you probably changed it because the "date' came up before the "mileage".
criminaltc : Good comments, however, my Wife's car Engine failed and needed to be completely replaced, under warranty last year, $7500 ( 2006 VW Convertible), we bought it new from the Dealership and it was always serviced/maintained by them. It was a VW warranty and the first thing they asked for were maintenance records and an Oil sample. Of course everything checked out OK, they could find no cause not to pay up.
Scion recommend 5K mile or 6 months Oil changes, so I'm just following their guidelines in case the same thing happens to the xB, the Dealer keeps the records so they have no argument.

Have to say I didn't have a trailer queen, and I did cruise mine often, but before I crashed my Super White, which was an 09. This past March it had only 12,308 on it and I purchased it in June of 09. I might win.
having a little transmission sickness just havnt had time to take it up to shop
For the passenger side axle, the boot seal was torn, and grease was everywhere. For clutch M/C, brake fluid everywhere under car, no visible leaks from brake master cyl, or clutch slave cylinder, also, clutch pedal would "suck" itself onto the floor.
