Default mud flaps?

I know they had mud guards as accessories for the xa, what about for the xb gen 2? I am seriously considering these for the rocky lane I need to travel now and the rockers are taking a real beating.

Do I just pick out a pair and some metal or wood screws and screw them on?

Wow, thanks. I feel like such a ***** as I assumed they did not exist since the catalog does not list them as an option.

I like draxcaliber idea to get generic toyota logo or something instead.

Cobb, Get the ones on ebay... I have them and they fit perfectly... you have to drill two small holes, but i think you have to do that with the toyota ones too... Plus $60 is way better then $200+ only bad thing for non-bsp people is they are flat black...

Thanks, I thought I was the only one who thought they were pricy.

In va they do road maintenance funny in my area. One season they throw down tar, next season a layer of rocks. Althought its been fun playing with the traction and skid control, both of which work well, its beating up my rockers.

I got the ones off of eBay as well. The fronts do not need drilling, the rears do.

I have not put the rears on yet, but the fronts fit perfect.

Thanks. I headed to pepboys and bought 2 sets of generic mud guards for 20 bucks each, very similar to what the scion looks like, but black. I drilled a few holes in each and mounted them to the car.

I only heard a few stray rocks hit the rockers, however on bumps and turns I hear the guards scrape the ground and my xb isnt lowered.

I had some photos, however I had an assistant deleted them wheil they were "developing".

They do add a cool look. I will see if I can get some photos soon.

Yeah, tell me about it. Anyone got a camera they no longer need or upgraded from? I am still using compact flash cards in my old camera.

You can see the front one pretty well, but the rear one is hidden by the blackness of the tire. I was going to lower mines, but these things scrape when I go over a bump or turn hard, so maybe scrapping that idea.

Yeah, I think chrome trim rings are the best mod for a new car with black wheels til you need to get new tires. Got to be an old timer to know the source of them, jcwhitney.
