My 1st thread
Thought I'd post my Toaster and share some of what I've learned since getting it.
This is what it looks like now -

Even took it to an SCCA event. In the rain! On stock tires! Actually beat some "prepared" cars -

My springs and pulley -

My current mods are in my sig below.
Big shout out to TrevorS for all his posts, DIYs and the shortened shifter. And ScionFred for the deal on the GGP motor mount.
Speaking of that motor mount, that was the most amazing change I made to the car. The car handles so much better, drives better, and wheel hop is almost non-existent. The stock mount is so soft, it lets the motor move around a lot under acceleration and deceleration. Seems like the stock mount also lets the body move around the drivetrain since the car doesn't wander since installing it and the car flat out handles better.
The down side? There's quite a bit of vibration at idle. But...
Here's an interesting thing. It turns out the computer in our cars are a lot smarter than they seem. The car decided it didn't like the vibration and lowered the idle around 150 rpm. Vibration mostly gone! (I have a stick btw.)
Hopefully one day I'll turbo the Toaster. Someday.
Rims would be nice first.

Too big and rounded for a toaster -- looks more like a bread box to me (like mine). You want to see a toaster, you got to check out the 2004 through 2006 xB's, they are the real McCoy
