At 30K it should be covered. You might want to unbolt the pedal and have a look to see if it is just loose or out of alignment. Couple 10mm bolts is all that hold it in place and you can unplug the sensor to look at it.

well i went to go mess aroudn with it. the sensor is literally just a thing like the mAf right on the pedal. pulled it out checked it over. plugged it back in. if it still is acting silly this weekend i will have to take it in. cause there is nothing but wires that just go up to the dash

If the dealer doesn't want to cover it, tell them that your car accelerated out of control for no apparent reason and that you'll be joining one of the many class actions unless they fix it.

90% of those claims were found false FYI but itd make the service writer laugh.

IMO the exact same number of Toyota's actually experienced sudden unintended acceleration for reasons other than driver error as the number of Audi 5000's did way back when. ZERO.
