What kind of calipers are you rocking? Is that a caliper from a TRD Big Brake Kit? If so, I thought they couldn't clear anything smaller than a 19" wheel!

 

PYRO>......I was thinking the same, but quess he made it work. His rim design does help..

 

Yea they are the TRD BBK. There is more than enough room in the barrel, but the spoke design helps a lot because they are close.

I have the TRD BBK as well. I Love It! Great performance, and style to boot!

 

The only thing that bothers me about those big calipers is not being able to use the stock spare.....if I get a flat, I have to call a tow truck no matter what :/

If any of Y'all know of a spare that will clear the calipers, but fit in the space of the stock spare, that is information I would really like to get.

Wow, I just noticed that you have Continental Extreme Contact DWS' on your box. I just put a set of DW's (I live in the South) on my XB this past Friday. They are GREAT!!! I had Yokohama S-Drive's on there.....they barely lasted 15,000 miles without coning, and making a helluva' lot of noise. These Extreme Contact DW's are very quiet in comparison, and snug the road better than tires I've paid twice, even three times as much for.

 

I had DWs last set but since I need to run the 18s all year I have to put all seasons on. Not a fan of all seasons but theres are fantastic. Hopefully soon with my new job I can afford another set of summer wheels
