Get invisible bra done instead... $550 for my whole car (front, mirrors, sides behind tires, rear bumper, under door handles, all door edges) and it isn't that intrusive looking.

I understand not many of you guys like the bras on the front, honestly I am not a big fan of them either, BUT I got this for when I am traveling back and forth on the HWY, cause for some reason I hit every bug and rock/stick etc on the HWY. So flame on if you desire!

=)

hey I was not tryin to to be a ___. when I go on trips I use that blue 3M painters tape its cheap and come right off with no mess. I've found that dirt and small sand and rocks get behind a bra and the wind and road vibration dig them into the paint they really do more damage then they prevent. my .02cents

How much did that end up costing you? I know that they charge a 'custom' fee if you don't want the hole in the front for the license plate.

I have used the 3M tape this past weekend with success, however, I had to have a few beers in me first to get it done. Took me about 30mins to get it all done and for $7, it was very well worth it.

Still, bra's are easier.

i saw something at www.duplicolor.com that is a temporary front end protector. it comes in clear and grey. you just spray it on and it doesn't come off until you was it with a sponge and soap. it looks pretty neat and something to consider using on road trips.

make sure that you take it off completely when you wash the car.

Regarless of how dirty the car looks, if you wash it with the bra on, the dirt will make its way under the bra and cause hell on your paint. Thats the last thing i want on my new car, now sure about you...

If i put a bra on my xB2 it will be the clear bra but ill probably just do it myself and do the whole hood, front bumper, and mirrors.

That's more like an invisible corset than an invisible bra. Goes all the way around the car to support and protect.

Default bra

I had one for my 1st Gen xB. It stayed on most of the time with no damage from the bra. I had to keep it very clean, especially on the inside. It came off half to three quarters of the times it was washed and the inside shaken or brushed. Compared to the rock chips and damage from love bugs that I would get before I got it, the trouble was worth it. Some folks thought it did not look good, but I kind of liked it on my RS2. I'm now trying to decide if I'm going to get one for my new 2nd Gen xB.
