Nautical Blue Metallic touch up paint ....
hey! So yesterday I was parked on a hill and I was in reverse and I had all my friends in my car (we're all pretty loud and obnoxious) so I was completely distracted and forgot i was in reverse and backed up into the car behind me. The other car was completely fine, but their front license plate scratched a fatty scratch in my rear bumper. It basically stripped off paint about 2-3 inches long, and the width of probably a pencil. I literally ripped off the strip of paint.
ANYWAYS, I was wondering if anyone has ever used, or know anyone who has ever used, the touch up paint for nautical blue metallic. I'm afraid it's going to turn out lighter than the rest of my car and look like a complete mess since it's a pretty big scratch.
PS- What's the best way to apply touch up paint for a larger scratch (i.e. not a tiny rock chip touch up)??
thanks in advance

I ordered my little bottle of NBM touchup paint from the dealer for 9 bucks... and it took a week before it came in. For me at least, just applying it won't give you the same result as if your car just rolled out from the factory. It hides it in most lighting condition but since you're aware of the scratch, you'll always see it.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure it isn't just paint scraped off. For me with the parking dents, it actually cuts into the actual rubber/plastic! =(

I used it to paint plugs for my bumper & it appears to match just fine. And, you can always use this stuff after you use the touch up paint...
