Default Need opinions on theme...

So i was thinking, (which can be dangerous) to bring back memories of my childhood, i am thinking about doing a theme to my new gen2 xB. That theme would be of the F-14 tomcat fighter jet... I was obsessed with jets when i was little, mostly due to Top Gun, and I think that this could really work out, if done correctly. I just wanted opinions from others, let me know what you guys think!!!

You could try what Dieselstation did to his car.

you mean putting a jet fighter on the side.......... or painting it to look like a jet fighter with rivrts and all.
i think i have a pic of somthing like that.

well....i couldn't find the pic, but i did have a video.
its not the highest quality, i was at a local car show and didn't have alot of room on my memery card.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Rv7bdrkkxtE&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Rv7bdrkkxtE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

i don't know why thats not working

i think its a great idea, if it can be pulled off. i was in the air force for 8 years and have a fascination with airplanes, so when they retired the f-14 it was sad for me. i've seen them up close and personal in refuelling missions over the middle east, fully loaded, only to return for another in flight refueling to see the wings empty. (sobering, to say the least!!) an amazing aircraft, and an awesome idea. i say "fly" with it, and take a ton of pix as it comes along!!!

I think that a Jet theme paint jop with rivets and maybe a two tone paint job to simulate a cockpit, Seibon carbon fiber hood and carbon fiber oem wing with the skull and cross bones on the side of the rear wing in gohst paint setup, Bomex lip kit, and Borla dual exhaust. Some nice deep dish wheels and a nice fat streched tire...... Good luck, I think it would look great if done right with subtle features and good taste.

If anyone watches Orange County Choppers, they did a Comanche helicopter-themed bike..you can do something similar but like an F18 or F16 (photo by freaksauce via flickr)

Or, like Jon's (Dieselstation) car---which I know he's selling (or maybe it's aready sold). He did two versions but opted with the one without the graphics...

I've seen his car and it's pretty cool

Whenever I think of themes I think of Orange County Choppers, GI Joes, and super glue...

But that tC is pretty sick. I think if you don't over do it, it should turn out really well.

Maybe you can even get some sponsorship from the Navy, never know...
