I am headed to the dealer to order my '08 XB after work today. According to the dealer to get the blackberry crush with manual trans they are going to have ot order it. I hope I don't have to wait too long. I am going to have to keep the upgrades to a minimal to keep the price in my current ballpark, but am wondering about the premium stereo vs. the base unit. Is it a worthwhile investment? Also what is the deal with the satellite radio option? I have sirius in my car now with plug and play, and can just move that unit over to the xb, but am wondering is there a seperate piece of equipment or is it integrated into the main headunit?

It shouldn't take long to get a BCM. Depends on how production is going.

Don't know about Satelite, premium stereo advantage is RCA outs, display is a little better and you can load you own images, but honestly not that much. If you are not adding amps, the base stereo works great

Satellite radio is built into the head unit.

I have been waiting almost a month to get my Silver with 5 speed. I guess the aren't making too many manual trannys according to the fleet manager I talked to. Mine should come in next week at the port and then I have to wait antother 3 to 5 days from there for them to deliver to the dealer. I live in California next to Long Beach where the cars are brought in from Japan, so ground transit time isn't long for me. If you live further inland, the wait time might be longer. So I would expect to wait around 5-10 weeks.

There is only one White xB 5-speed in the area and they don't want to trade with my dealership. We decided to just order one from Japan.....................

I am on my 8th day of waiting..........................

Its ok I am still driving my tC.......

well I ordered it. the salesman is supposed to call me today with the details. He said it could be 4 to 6 weeks, unless they can find one in route somewhere. I guess we will have tosee how my normally low patience holds out.
