NEW RS5 OWNERS- 5SPD or AUTO??
#3
My dealer said that the factory was shipping autos first, the manuals would arrive "later", whatever that meant - I couldn't wait!! Now that I have a few miles on mine, I'm glad I bought the auto. I spend too much time sitting in traffic

I put a deposit on the RS5 in December from my local dealership and asked for the spoiler and foglights...Last week he also told me autos were coming out first...My plans are alarm, short shifter, rims, exhaust, HID's, and moonroof/sunroof visor

When we ordered ours the Scion.com/release_series web site said $285 installed on
the main page and $335 installed if you clicked on the image. When ours was
delivered the site had changed to $423 installed. My dealership honored the $285 price.
It still took two weeks after delivery to get it here.

When I got mine, Scion.com said 320 installed. That's what I pd. Now it has gone up. There were only 500 spoilers made. Mine took a few days to get here, had to come from port on the West Coast.
A few weeks ago, a guy on Ebay had 7 spoilers for sale.

The clutch pedal in the RS5 is kind of mushy and doesn't seem to disengage unless pressed completely to the floor. I've been driving sticks for many years and I catch a grind evey so often. I'm afraid to ask dealer to adjust the throw for fear they'll make it worse. I'm going to give is a month to make sure its not me. The shifter is comfortable but seems to have a longer pattern than the RS3
