Default New Scion xB owner here.

I just purchased a 2008 Scion xB used with 41900 miles on December 21. Test drove it and decided to take the plunge on it, didnt find anything wrong with it besides normal wear and tear. I used to drive a late model corolla S but it was totaled. This car is pretty sweet. the previous owner installed an amp and some after market speakers. He said I can install a sub pretty easy with this setup.

It is a superwhite xB manual drive. Ill try to get pics up. It has the PT545-00102 headunit which is sweet and factory tinted windows. Might put some Scion TC rims on there if they fit...

Congrats, it's hard to find a used, low mileage xB2 for sale..at least where I live lol. You've got a fine car I'm sure, hopefully it'll last you a long, long time!

So I already have a dilemma.

My 08 scion xb came with PT545-00102 but the previous owner has an iphone and used that for music, therefore there is a wire for ipods//iphones leading from behind the stereo, through the dash, and out by the feet area. It is a long wire.

This is where I have conflict, I have an android phone, the Samsung S4 and the stock AUX ports no longer function due to the install. I don't even know where to begin to fix this...

I tried an ipod to 3.5 speaker plug adapter but that failed.

even though i have an iphone, i do not use the scion iphone jack. i just have my phone hooked up via the AUX cable - from the head unit to the headphone jack on my phone. you have to control your music through the phone though. fwiw.
