I'm not big on lighting like that but I've seen blue or red on different colored cars and it looks like you can't go wrong with those.

Alot of people go with orange in the interior so it will flow with the gauge cluster as far as Purple you can try streetglow.com they offer alot of colors. They also offer kits on eBay to change the color of the gauge cluster but unless you can solder on know someone who can I wouldn't mess with it.

I like the idea of color in the dome light, but I'll stick to white in the map lights. The dome just lets you see your away around the car, like when you get in. The map lights are there for a more specific purpose: reading something. Colors like UV and blue are the hardest lights for the eyes to focus on, making reading difficult. Think of it this way, you'll always use your dome when you get in/out, but you use the map light for a purpose.

Hey, I'm also a new XB owner (1 week almost), and I was considering of doing like a LED lining somewhere on the bottom. I was thinking of like how the BMWs have it on their cars (example: under the door handle area lighting up the side of the door)....i'd show you a pic but i cant seem to find one... I believe though that it is like those LED strips that ppl sell... I think it'll look nice if you don't go too overboard with it...as for the color I was thinking about matching it with the gauges unless I decide (if possible) to change the gauge colors...

I bought my xb last year december. the first thing i bought for it was one of those wide angle concave mirrors from one of those race shops.

the view provided from the rear view mirror SUCKS! I'm glad I bought it lol.
