Hey guys! I'm from Nova Scotia Canada, and I just ordered my xB should be here Tuesday or Wednesday! I got the Blue color, any thoughts about this at all? Anything I should do to the car when I first get it?

 

those are the easiest to do and not too expensive.

 

Is it 2013? In my opinion blue is the best color. Even though I like my white 2012 xB, I sometimes regret not getting blue.

 

Thanks guys :D And yeah it's a 2013 Nautical blue. The dealership only had a red one in stock. It looked nice, but my family already has a red car and I didn't want another one. I should clarify, I never ordered an xB the dealership did it for me, getting it from Montreal. Very few are kept in the Atlantic provinces.

I'll probably do some mods to the car. I don't really want to lower the car due to a crap ton of potholes and bad roads around here, but I will probably add a CAI, as it seems like a pretty easy mod to do. I never worked on a car before, but I worked on electronics and other things, so I should be fine if I take my time and read lots

What are you trying to get? Kinda weird that you can only get something in Canada and not the states.

BTW great color you picked for the xB!!! I should have gotten my 08 in that color. They only made a limited amount of 08's in that color.

 

I cannot !@#$%^&* believe that they dont have it in US! I love Canada but it sux when it comes to shopping for any freakin thing! US has every freakin thing in the world (except one thing which I dont want to mention)

 

Yeah that's a little weird. Try calling Oregans Scion Dartmouth, that's where I got mine. They MAY do something I'm not sure. Either that or if you pay me in advance for both postage and the item I wouldn't mind sending it to you.

Just to confirm my decision I went out and looked at the Soul, cube, and Mazda 3 the other day. All 3 had more road noise than the scion. And all 3 were more expensive for the same features at least here in Canada. Mazda 3 hatch was about 27k after tax and everything. Just made me feel better about my decision

 

Congrats on your xb purchase. I agree 100% with you - everytime I start comparing cars, the xb always comes out on top. Awesome feature set for the price.

Picked the car up today! I've been super happy with it. I'll take some pics tomorrow after I've washed it again and applied a coat of wax. By the way, I sell a product called "Worlds Best Wax" I'll show some pics of my car and how good of a job it does.
