The 08 is nautical blue metallic.. my wife's 06 is ... umm.. I think it was actually called Camouflage Green maybe?

 

i like that color alot .......still tryin to decide if i wanna make the switch to the xb2 tho.

 

It's funny, the gen1 xB is more "her" and the gen2 is more "me"

I didn't care as much for the gen1 back when we got it, mostly because I was driving a Mustang at the time and the pickup in the gen1 wasn't cutting it for me. Over time the gen1 really grew on me though. When the Mustang became too problematic and costly, fortuitously the 08 xB arrived on the scene and won me over.

Didn't do the 2 xB thing. But got two Scions. (Although my Dad has a Gen1. I need to get his '06 xB, my '08 xB, and my wife's 05 tC together.

 

oooooh I feel better now knowing I'm not the only one with multiple Scions in my family

 

That first pic is the first - and only - picture I have ever seen where the two gens actually kind of look like one another.

also i convinced my best friend into buying a Tc last year!!

 

No xB 2nd Gen yet, but just some of us from work, on a good day there can be 2 xA's 1 XB and 3 tCs

 

I really dig the pics of the white Scions parked together. I've never been much for white cars but they look really damn cool. I hadn't seen a white gen2 xB yet and I have to say it's pretty slick looking. My dealer was missing black and white.. they had every other color in-stock.. so I didn't get to actually see those two.

I had no idea there was such a huge community out there for these cars

the xb2 looks retarded big next to the 1st gen. on the pic above. lol.

 

Just an observation but if you look at the first picture the gen 1 lookes wider. The car nearest the lens will appear wider sometimes. Not so much retarded. just bloatier if that's a word. They both look great and even better when color matched.

 

Those are great shots, Dot... They do really look like siblings; one just a little puggier than the other.

 

lol the new xb2 looks great next to the original...it looks like the chubby big brother.

 

they should call the xb2, the scion fatboy. lol. i would debadge it and put that on there. lol.
