yeah we got this local guy in orlando, name is mel, he worked for toyota in the mid/late 90's for the latin america division and he showed us all these classified documents, which obviously are now unclassified, and it showed EVERYTHING!!!

That green RS3 is awesome. Why would you get rid of it ? just get a second car. I saw one driving behind us on the road and it made all the other cars around it look gray. It reminded me of those commercials where everything is drab an grey except the item they were selling which was cool, colorful and stood out.

My brother has the orange RS1 which is nice especially down here in UT (longhorn) country, but the green is much better.

The 4WD model is the most expensive.

if you think about it though... 4wd is becoming a standard for smaller vehicels. i wouldn't be suprised if it was the cheaper option soon for alot of vehicels...

I'd buy an xB if it had the 2.4 or larger engine.

they can't just say hey this is popular make it cheaper.

awd costs a lot more than rwd or rwd. weighs more . kills gas mileage.

not all that attractive in a very small car in all reality.

From what I understand from someone who went to Texas for the Toyota meeting is that the next "tall 4 door wagon /mpv" will be similar to the t2b, just not with all the odd things. District Manager had said it will also not be called a xB nor will it be called a bB and we will also not receive the 3rd Generation Toyota bB.

I'd put my money on the xB replacement being based on the new JDM Toyota Corolla Fielder wagon but with a body shape strongly akin to the Scion T2B concept car and could even accommodate the 2.4-liter I-4 from the Scion tC sports coupe. It is essentially the first US-legal Toyota/Scion model based on the next-generation Corolla platform.

we are getting stuff off the old corolla platform if what i've been told is correct. either way it'll be ugly , heavy , slow. and get bad mileage

The new bB in Japan. This is what replaced our car over there. We will not be getting it here.

This is exactly what I have been told it will be.

By the way, this level of secrecy is not new with Toyota. I've been with them for almost 13 years and we almost never see anything of substance until the cars are almost ready to arrive. The only exception is if the car its replacing has essentially sold out. For instance, the Sienna pics and specs were released almost a year before it came out because there were almost no Previas left by that point. The same thing happened when the Tundra replaced the T100. On the other hand, the current Runner was hidden until almost the day it was released because we still had the old ones in stock. Same with every generation of the Camry.

I actually come here to see if y'all have found something that I didn't know. I usually find one or two tid bits that seem plausible.
