That's what you see in the suburbs of every city that is growing. Texas, Arizona, Colorado, etc. It has nothing to do with stupidity, all to do with "we're building 5 zillion new houses as cheap as we can and those people need to shop and eat." The places you don't see that are dying. I'm not saying it's good, that's just how it is.
That was in response to someone saying that north Texas is starting to look like Cali. The essence of the statement is that every city is being cloned, and thus, every city/town/region is starting to look like cali, or AZ, or Colorado, or whatever. There are a few bright spots, but 99% of all cities can be classified (looks wise) into one of a small handful of catagories; quaint town, small-big city trying its darndest not to become cloned megalopolis, and then cloned megalopolis. 40k starbucks can't wrong, can they?

Well in Texas they think they're cool cause they have positive offset. Known as "deep-dish-hicks"

But in liberal whiney northern states they have negative offsets because they are a bunch of tree-hugging, front-wheel-driving, ricers.

It's ugly. All over are these threads on how great it looks if you just... bodykit... blah bal bla... it can't stand on it's own. It's thrown together elements smack of focused marketing to maximize sales rather than improving on a tried and true seller in a way that is complementary to it's original design.

yuk. You can have it. It's a Toyota and that's great... but it still sucks to my eyes.

I cannot believe this thread hasn't been locked yet. It went from a post complaining about people who complain (...) to crazy personal attacks, to a string of total insanity, to people ripping on southerners, to southerners ripping on THEMSELVES. It's a beautiful thing, this "Internets."

This thread is just BEGGING for a Fifty Hitlers post.

Well since, 95+% of americas consider themselves religious, believers in a deity, so that makes sense.
