Post your range!
Instead of MPG, lets see what you all are getting as far as range is concerned.
This is the highest range I have ever had, got it at my last fillup.

I wonder if anybody has gotten it to 375+? Be insane!

How are you guys getting 375? I only have like 500 miles on my xB2 and my range is right around 275..average MPG is 28 combined..Also, is the range including the reserve? Because I had like 1/4 tank left and a 56 mile range before fill up and that didnt seem right.. I realize the mileage will get better over time..but 275 range is pretty bad.. AJ
You don't reset range. Range is the approximation made by the cars computer that basically gives you an estimate of how many miles until you should fill-up.
Usually when it does hit zero, you only put about 12 gallons in, out of the 14 gallon tank.
Also, range is "learned" in a way. So with only 500 miles on your xB, the computer is still "learning". My range JUST got back up to level I am at since I installed my HID's (in which I had to disconnect the battery, which reset the ECU). So slowly it "relearned" my driving habits or whatever and fuel/air mixture to give me the range im getting.
With more miles your range should increase, if you dont drive with a lead foot.

I fill up 11.2-11.5 gallons and get max 230miles to the tank.
I have never gone above 11.5 gallons when filling up. Your talking about filling up 12 gallons out of a 14 gallon tank? Either every gas station around S. Florida is wrong or my tank is a 12 gallon tank.
I can't seem to understand why I am only getting 20mpg every tank and I see alot of people here getting 28mpg and having a range of 300+ miles to the tank. Is there something wrong with S. Florida because I noticed the same thing when I had my truck; people were getting better MPG and the only change was the State/Area.
I only have around 2500 miles on my xB as well and I do around 25% highway (at or around 80MPH) and 75% city driving.

Our light comes on premature. When my light comes on I usually will fillup to 11.4 gallons, usually always right around there.
Our tank IS 14 gallons. Let the range hit zero and and know you can drive a bit on it. Just don't push it ;)
But really, you don't need to worry about filling up until your range does hit ZERO. You wont run out of gas, you still have like two gallons left at that point.

How are your driving habits?
I am not really a "grandma" driver by any means, but I do use cruise anytime I can, coast to red lights, and really try to look ahead to what im doing. In reality, anytime you use the brake your wasting gas so I try to avoid it anytime I can.
I also do alot of highway driving, which is why my mileage is probably higher. My normal routine probably consists of 40% city, 60% highway, roughly.

Yea, I barely drive the freeway at all. Only about 15-25% max.
Here is FL, the lights are very close together along with high speed limits (around 45mph, I usually do around 50-55mph) and congested roads, I am constantly on my brakes with stop and go, stop and go, stop and go.

Feel how hot your wheels are after a typical ride and you will know where all the gas is going.
