Hey:

I know the 10th digit of my VIN states my xB2's production year - 2009 -
but I can find no other sticker, plaque, or whatever that indicates the MONTH of manufacture. (And yes, I've searched.)

Really, all I'm interested in is knowing whether my car is a relatively early-, mid-, or late-2009 production vehicle. (I bought it in November.)

My VIN is JTLKE50EX91092992.

I know I should be looking at the last seven digits, but in reference to what?

If you look at the manufacturing label on the driver's side door jamb on the lower part of the B-pillar, there should be a production month/year (in that format) on the top right-hand corner of the label.

 

2008-11 is your production date.

 

Ah. November '08 it is. Jnaval and Sam - I owe you. I still don't know my car's production date relative to that of all other xBs sold as 2009s, but this is all I really needed. Thanks so much again.
