Default purchase 2015 Scion XB Automatic with price($17529.0), is it good?

My old civic is not reliable now and I want to replace it. My budget is limited and I focus on the basic XB Automatic model. I checked XB prices shared by others from autopriceshare and one local dealer matches this price($17529).
If anyone just purchased a 2015 Scion XB Automatic, could you share your opinions about this price? is it a fair price? One more question, should I prepare snow tires or chains for XB?

Purchased mine three days ago from Longo Toyota in California for 19k. So that 17k sounds about right with taxes should be around 19k

I tried to buy one for 19K here in Vegas(21K AFTER taxes) but the dealer was soooo shady they tried one trick after another to either have me finance thru them at a high rate(nope), buy the extended warranty(nope) and generally treated me like ****. I simply had to walk out while they were prepping the financing papers right there still trying to trick me into signing!!

If you can find a halfway decent dealer and you get get the basic Automatic xB for under 20K after taxes it is a steal imo.

Me? I'm moving out of here in Aug lol.

The base price of the automatic is $18690 for 2015.
That seems like a good price for this time of year. The price is not really negotiable, but they will try to get you on a trade.

I purchased a 2014 Automatic back in November. The dealer gave me a $ 2000.00 end of year markdown so the price was $16859 (including floor mats and cargo mat). That's less than the price of the original xB2 back in 2008 !
