I saw this site on another forum...and they look good. but is it worth it....take a look on the site and tell me what u think. i want to tint. but since my car got hit....(ya some ____ hit my rear passenger door and then booked while i was at work.) i don't have 300 or so to spend on tint...so is this site a ripoff or a viable alternative

 

i got just the front tinted for $30 with a 5 year warranty. no regrets at all. be careful with the whole diy tint thing. i've seen it come out awful more times than not. i'm sure if you look around your neck of the woods you can find a reputable shop that will do it for a fair price.

 

for the 2 fronts it you shouldnt spend more than $60.

I agree with Whispaz, I think it was around $60 to do my front two.

 

so if the two fronts are about 60. the rear should be about the same. and i would excpet the rear to be 30...or so. and mabye a strip on top of the windsheild

 

I was a window tint person, the box shouldnt cost you more than 180 for all around tint

the boxy looking windows make tinting as easy as possible..

 

my front I got 35% and it matches the back well,it was $75 and it looks great.

 

so technially at a decent shop. it should cost me around 200 or so. if i wanted Limo on back and rear windows. and mabye 35% on the front. ( i think there is some law in ny claiming that here can be like 70% tint on the front which is nothing. so im thinking 35% so they can see there is a contrast of some sort. also a tint place near me can do blue tint....what think?? it might flow with my all blue look so far on my bsp.

I called 2-3 places around here and I was quoted $80 for just tha front.....Yeah, don't think so..

 

It cost me $200 to have mine tinted all around.

I'd be very careful with the DIY tint kit. If you mess up, you have to reorder from that place since it's pre-cut. Plus tinting isn't as easy as the pros make it seem and our windows have more curve than you might think, particularly the hatch window. The guy who did mine had to do a pretty good bit of heat shrinking to get it flat.

 

im sorry the dark side is strong! fight it i must. however all it takes is one good blue tint job and im sold!!

haven't decided on a stero yet stil need money for such things. (passed on stickers)

 

my fronts were 55$ & was quotes 175 for all the way around incuding the strip on the windshield. Done by a pro with a warranty....... jh

 

i had my rs 5 done today..
the jacks put freaking 50% on it, and refused to put anything else on it.
the sad thing is they did my other xB and put 20%
I am not really happy with the job, so I'm gonig to have it redone.

 

I had mine done with 20% all the way around. I paid $300, but it's top of the line tint.

I still think I paid a bit for it. But I'm happy!

wow 300? yeah the place i went told me like $30 a window, any shade, with lifetime warranty. so i paid $140 (w/ tax) flat for all my windows (except front windshield of course)

 

so the factory tints are 35%? I want to do my fronts, but match the rest of the car.
