[quote="my_cubicle_part2"]i have the same wheels- staggered

Hey Cubicle,

How is the overall performance affected with 19" rims and tires? When I had 19s on my older M3, 19s dramatically affected performance. Granted the XB has half as much horsepower, does it feel a lot slower now with the bigger and heavier wheels? How's the MPG?

Hey HareBrained, thanks for getting those. I was one of the ones interested in seeing this car. I would probably do a few of the details a little differently on the paint job, but overall I like it.
Thanks again for taking the time to get them.

first gear noticeably drags but once it's rolling, it's smooth. I actually watched my rpm with the stock wheels before changing it to 19"s and it is the same at 5th gear. not sure though if it's a good comparison. MPG is not too bad- I was expecting worst. So I will say I am happy with it

puddle lamps are lights that are either under the side mirrors or under the car. they are usually under the side skirts and they provide light for puddles i guess. haha

This is what they look like on my car. 5 Leds under each sideskirt that are triggered by the dome lights.

ALRIGHT!! You got me convinced now, Rolandscion.... can you tell me exactly where you wired into to make the dome light trigger?? I bet my wiring is the same as yours.. When I hit the 'remote un-lock' the dome light comes ON.... & I want my new puddle lights to come on as well.. Can you give a semi or detailed description on where you wired into???? thanks... jh
ps.. sorry for the thread jack, let's get back on topic.....
but Rolandscion.. please answer here or in a PM & I'll post a 'new topic' & a DIY when I get it done... thanks... jh

/\ just tap into the fuse. you'd need to have an ON-OFF-ON rocker switch so you can also have power to the LEDs when the dome light isnt on.

The scion xb at Rodland looks better in person then it does in the pics, but yes I think 30K is a hard sell. Can't wait to get my super white one from these guys later this week. And I think I may have to follow in your footsteps Michael and do the puddle lights.
