rs 6.0 owners HELP

Does the RS 6.0 have one of the Pioneer navigation units? If it does, it is probably an issue with the head unit or rather, the RCA connections. Mine does it occasionally as well (I have an AVIC F700). And there are a few threads about it on avic411.com.

If you switch sources it may also fix it. Easier when you're driving.
I would call Pioneer again and say that it is not normal. That's called a defect. I just haven't bothered to call about mine b/c I'm pretty sure it's out of warranty.

I think the hood issue is specific to rs 6.0 xb.

There is a know issue with one of the main connectors on the back of the unit. I removed my unit and unplugged and reconnected all the connectors and my audio to came back. It has worked fine ever since. Many people have had to send their units back in for repair. Bad solder connection on the inside of the unit.
