I'm a new (as of today) RS 6.0 owner. I come from a long line of performance cars, but as this is my DD wanted to get something a bit bigger (still have a miata for autox/track)
I replaced an 05 Corolla XRS (6spd, 2zz-ge 170hp)

I'd love to see this thread full of RS 6.0's, modded or otherwise to give me, and everyone, some ideas.

Got the dealer to throw in the C-pillar storage, but haven't installed them yet.

Also, I have a nice carbon fiber shift **** that i'd like to install but the shift boot looks very weird with it, any tips to get the boot to mate up with shift ***** properly?

 

Get rid of the A-pillar black tape, looks soooooo much better without it...

 

Put body kit,spoiler and nice rims for now and it will look real good.

 

an RS5 kenstyle kit! LOL I have onr for sale. The xB looks hot in red, almost european in that red.

 

Indeed get rid of the A pillar tape but it is the worst thing ever! It sucks so bad peeling it and getting rid of the glue that remains... Do it on a cool day and get a heat gun. I did mine on a hot day and for some reason that made it worse.

 

I'm not sure I agree with you guys on the tape.. The whole window surround is taped too, as was my '05 corolla.

I think it would look odd with the tape removed personally...so tape stays for now, though i appreciate the input

^^^ Very nice, im gonna do the same thing with the front bumper on my RS6, but im gonna go gloss I think...

 

think it looks much better w/ the a-pillar tape on, makes it look more stealth/continuous - but that's just me.

 

Just removed my tape also and installed the carbon fiber window trim. Easy to do, just peal and remove, be patient it will come off. Do it while in the sun, comes off easier.

 

Time for a revival.

 

Im loving the red XB2!! Wish I coulda convinced the wife to get one.

 

I wish they had one in manual where I lived. If they did I would of got it instead of my BSP one. But I love my black one you can hide better LOL!!!
