Default Scion Nav system

Got my nav system delivered on Monday and had it installed by the Scion dealer on Tuesday. I bought it off a dealer here on the Scion Life forum for a great price and the dealer installed it for $80 (yep you read that right) $80 plus tax). I found out that Scion has told the dealers what they can charge for putting items in the XB's (I would guess other Scions also) and I actually now have a copy of the list for the Xb's including the cost of the TRD items. I have bought the additional items either here or from the Dealers web site that has reduced prices and have the dealer install them at Scion prices.
It took the mechanic about 4.5 hours to install yesterday (dont know why since the book says its a 2 hour install) but I am totally happy and the fact that I did not have to take everything apart to install it was great also.
Now I just have to figure out how it works.

God bless
John

John, that's awesome. I like the way the inscreen dash looks. You can play DVD's on that right?

How about hooking all of us up with that list so we can take it in?

I will try to figure out how to scan and post eh list but from what I was told the Dealers "HAVE" to go by this list, so call your local dealer and ask how much to install the Scion stuff in your car.

God bless

I hope you have the manual for the Nav system! Even with the manual it is quite a challange. More than half of the book is taken up with the navigation functions, the rest is devoted to the AM/FM, CD and DVD. I am still scratching my head!

Don't mean to hijack the post, with regard to dealer install prices on options, my dealer charged $100 to install the TRD CAI. It was the 1st they installed and it took them well over 2 hours. I thought they did a good job for a reasonable price.

Sent you a PM but this appears to be a good post (not a hijack in my opinion) what is a TRD CAI? Is that something on the NAV unit or something else?

God bless

Can you post a link to the list you were talking about with the parts and install prices? Thanks!!! I still have to read the manual about the SNS but I've been playing with it some this week (just got 2009 Scion xB Wednesday) :D
