I noticed on my CSM xB that the clearcoat has the orange peel texture, is this normal for a new car?

I also have an RS 5.0 with the painted door handles and they have the orange peel texture, whereas the painted dash parts and console doesn't.

Is this something I should bring up with the dealership?

 

Its pretty normal. Mine is minimal but its throughout the entire paint so Im ok with it. If yours is in different spots Id definitely bring it up to the dealership. Smaller pieces tend to be easier to paint.

 

Just be glad the dealership did not attack it with a buffing wheel!
