In delivering mail today, I saw the cover of the latest AUTOMOTIVE NEWS, and the first article was about Toyota's sizzle this summer. In the month of July, Toyota sold about 40 thousand Camrys, Honda Accord 38 thousand, Nissan Altima 17 thousand. The most interestiong part is that camry life on a dealers lot is only 10 days, Accord is 40 days and Altima 49 days. I don't know what it is but I can only think of it as being quality and loading the vehicle with tons of options. They maybe using Scion's secret in packaging their cars.

In saying so, I know Honda is due to release their Element SC of coarse at a higher price, my only hope is that Scion can carry forth with the xD containing a fab look, power and it's normal practice of accessories and options with a sticker lower than the Elements. I really would like a continued success with our company no matter what they make. I know alot of people are disliking the xD without seeing it, but I hope you all give it a chance. You may be surprised.

Well you know that the general public has compared the two or put the two in the same class. I would compare the two simply because Scion achieved what Honda tried to do with the Element. The xD so they say will be bigger than the xB so why not match the two if it is near in size.

 

Looks like the xD will be the xA replacement and not the dreaded larger xB that we have seen pictures of.

 

why do they want to get rid of such nice cars??
