Spent a week adding some much awaited mods.
Well, spent the last week without the XB on the road, performing some much needed improvements to match and out do what I had done to my well missed SWXB.

First off installed some aftermarket fogs, still having issues with the wiring, if you have had the same fogs or similar you know what I am going through but working on it patiently. Also finally found the perfect honey comb grill material thanks to my brother-in-law installing some on his M5. Replaced all lower section of the bumper inserts with it and the one on the driver side had to make some better air flow for this........

Went with INJEN CAI, and I know it isn't CARB legal, but unless I get pulled over for racing, which makes no sense in a basically stock engine (exhaust coming in the next few weeks, cross my fingers), I won't get hassled till Smog time, and I will just install the factory air box in roughly 16 months then put the CAI back in.
And finally got to the sound dampening all over again. This time went a bit further. Got the doors, roof, trunk and the floor from the front of the backseat to the firewall. These next pics are just a sample of what I did to all four doors, oh and if you notice that isn't the stock rear door speaker, that is the old front woofer moved and made to fit in the rear to add more mid bass, and the fronts were replaced with Morel Maxximo components in the woofer and tweeters slots.

These are the tweeters mounted on the outside of the factory location, also aimed toward the front seats to about shoulder height for proper sound staging. This was actually installed a few months ago, but now with the sound dampening and added amplifier sound soooo much better.

The road noise is much less now. The whole ride of the vehicle feels more solid, when riding over jarring bumps and road reflectors, it sounds more like my RX 330 now than a tin box. I had also added some sound dampening to my hood under the factory liner. I do have to say I still can't wait to replace my tires cause these BF Goodrich T/A's are loud with or without the sound dampening. And I had also did the Big 3 grounding/power wire upgrade since I added a second amp to my system.
