You know I wanted to make one of these as well. I don't have pictures but there a couple around my hometown some of them modded, but never seem friendly. Does anyone else have this problem? I always wave and stuff and they just don't care about the car we have?

 

i've always wanted to wave or honk, but all the people i've seen drive xb2's around me are 60+ years old and look like they are really focused on the road

no knock on the elderly at all!

 

I have had mixed greetings. I get some wave backs and others wondering why the wave.

 

ya NY is weird like that. TC owners could care less. most of them i see modded or not looked ____ed to be driving.

 

Jumping in:

Back when Scion first came out on the East Coast, Scions would wave to each other around 90% of the time. I waved to everyone and almost everyone waved and smiled. Sometimes we chatted at a stop light. Now, less that 2% of the people I see that drive Scions wave or smile now. If they do, I have usually seen them and waved to them before. And it's usually xB Classic and xA drivers that wave now. Wish Scion people were friendly again.

I like the thread idea though, nicely done.

 

Almost every xB2 that I see in my area is just a company car with company graphics.

 

yea couple of the xb2 in my area are company cars, some family older ppl, and like the other day couple think they so fast in there stock xb2 with rims trying to race me just cuz mine is fixed up

 

haha have any of you seen security xb2's? They are so legit! I saw a few at this big shopping center in Richmond Virginia's Short Pump area.

I hate that they use them as taxis now because on top of all the "toaster" comments, I also get the taxi driver comments...
I see a few though that aren't taxis or fleet vehicles, there's one with foglights and the oem spoiler that makes me jealous that I hadn't gotten those options because it makes the car look tons better.

 

I see the very occasional 1G in my area, and once or twice a company 2G with graphics, but that's really it. I also occasionally have somebody in a sporty car come alongside and act as though they want to try me -- yeah, right -- no thanks !
