No, actually Toyota Japan is rumor to launch our xb as part of the Corolla lineup, the Corolla Lumino. Information on this is vague, but i've see pixs around the internet. The new bb is still based off the new yaris platform.

Wow. That is very nice. I like how the hood has two longitudinal creases instead of the single transverse crease that is in the USDM xB. And I also like the the way the hood angles down in front and the grill is more understated and sleek. Nice rims too. I'm not into the body skirts, but that's not because they aren't nice skirts, I just don't like body skirts in general.

If you look closely it appears the tail lights are styled differently. I'd love to see the back of this to see if it has the single backup light or a more conventional arrangement.

I like it but the headlights seem a little... MASSIVE, imho also the rear fender doesnt seem to be as pronounced and bubbly, its more like the first gen.

I like the Lumino the best. IMO, the front bumper, headlights and hood lines give it a smoother appeal than the xB2.

Yes, but I think it is still matches proportionately to the xB's "thickness"

I'm curious about the rear too.

I know they dont exist "yet" thats why i said i wonder if they WILL. not i wonder if they do.
I do believe the whole idea of the corolla lumino is to bring the scion xB2 to japan, instead of a bB it is the corolla lumino because they allready have their own bB.

Are there any more links re: the Lumino? Can't seem to find anything?

From the watermarks on the pics, it looks like it's from Taiwan? Taiwan market only?

Personally, I would love it if these came to the US, but somehow I doubt it.

I think the more massive headlights are actually better looking. Just my opinion.

What you are seeing in the rear fender flare I believe is just due to the angle and lighting of the photo and the graininess of the scanned printed picture. I don't think they could change that part of the body cost effectively. The front clip is a fairly cheap change to make, and I think that's what we are seeing here. Plus maybe something a bit different in the tail light lenses.

True. But by the time all is said and done you probably could have bought a Ferrari.
