very old school hot rod. not sure it would fit the car (the look) too well, but it is yours, not mine. just my opinion.

Thats wild! I had one of those shifters in my 67 chevy II SS Nova, would have to see what it looks like in place to decide if its a fit for us....pretty cool though

you can go to auto zone and get a real metal one, not plastic for the same $20, no B&M logo on it, and for anotehr $5 get a can of primer and paint it BSP to match...
i can't believe B&M is selling plastic ones, thats cheap...
i have one from my old VW days - 1956 oval window - i have often thought of spraying it hot lava for kicks, but i'm lazy...

I have this one in my '88 Fiero:

It was a bit of a stretch even for an 80's car, I really don't think a T-Handle belongs in a Scion.

I replaced my stock shifter with a goose island 312 beer tap (tap is a full size bakelight telephone handset) to get some laughs. Neighbors thought I got a car phone. You could see the shifter over the dash. Found out the shifter rod goes way up the stock **** as the nut is greatly recessed; As for any off the shelf replacements they will probably stick up 1 or 2 inches higher than stock.

Now I'm using a Carbon Fiber covered chrome **** with a hole thru it. Got it on clearance for $6 bucks. Looks modern, matches the dash pattern and I saved a lot of weight with the CF; top speed has improved as well as mpg. I use the stock **** as a hammer to play whack-a-mole when the kids put their feet on the dash or I want to wake them from their ipod/NDS trance. :D

BTW if ya want your own Goose Island Tap Handle you can get one here. (notmine)

It's your car - I'm having fun with mine, hope your having fun with yours. This is so much better than the Dodge Intrepid I traded in. The Intrepid car clubs are no where near as cool or friendly..

That was the plan but I couldn't get the die to cut any threads. It just shaved the metal down so I had to get the **** in the pic because it mounted with set screws instead of threads. It feels great though and I don't accidentally hit it like I did when it was at full height.
