Tail Light tinting..
Hey everyone! I'm interested in tinting my tail lights on my xB. Does anyone recommend any brand or style?
I know the tint can't be too dark but I still want it noticeable for the look.
Thanks!

I have done many lights for people. They are always asking me why mine look so good and shiney and there is a trick to it. For one you want the temp wherever you are painting them to be warm 70+. You do not need to scuff the lights or sand them thats bs and a waste of time. Just clean them with alcohol very well before painting. Now the hard part getting them dark enough where they look good but are not too dark. I always go with no more than 3 coats. Now between coats i use a heat gun to dry and bake the paint. You can also use a hair dryer but you want it to get hot enough to dry the paint between coats. It will give it a nice gloss look and prevent fish eyes or runs. So just very lightly coat each one 3 times taking time in between to bake on the finish. It helps if you set them beside each other. Makes it easier to get them both evenly coated. After the 3rd coat you can decide if you want to go any darker. I find that 3 coats makes them dark enough but you can still see the lights during the day very important. You cant go back after applying too much. And as for brand. VHT Night Shades.
