I was wondering about this. Kind of strange that the xD version is already out. The xB has been out much longer and the ETA for their xB strut bar isn't until May. That's weird.

Looking forward to it.
Once I finish up my audio I'm going to suspension, and Tanabe DF210 and their front strut are on my shopping list, as well as the Hotchkis rear swaybar.

Looks like their Underbrace is NOW available too. Still waiting for the rear sway bar.

uberspeed, you planning on doing the underbrace from Tanabe as well? I've been thinking about it, but I just don't know...

I called about this, and the website is incorrect. It is also a May ETA.

The xD bar is identical to the Yaris bar, so the work was already done.

Don't think so, it just doesn't make sense to me.
Perhaps if I were back into building a slot car yet again and looking for every last bit of help, but not here. they would have to show me some pretty conclusive findings.
I would be interested in seeing if they make a rear swaybar and how it compares to the Hotchkis.

For sure. I've never had a vehicle that handled well, so I'm going to do my best with this. And of course with my ridiculous amount of stereo equipment. *sigh* I'm starting to think what I have (and my future plans) will just be plain too much. We'll see.

And an ETA of May!?!?!!?!? Geeze. It's not that hard to thread a piece of DOM tubing, bend it, screw 2 heim joints in it, and CNC cut out a plate for the struts.

I'm just planning on making my own strutbar. If anyone has an uninstalled TRD strutbar, if they feel philanthropic, trace the mounting points for the struts and send them to me? Pleeeeeease!

Wow no ____? Didn't expect that. I thought maybe Tanabe had one for the Toyota IST(JDM xD) and that's how it was already available. But I don't know when that came out.

You and I both have too much added weight in audio gear to really think about making a box handle well lol But the traditional springs, front strut and rear sway should improve the handling drastically, enough to keep us happy.

not only is the xD the JDM ist, the ist is based on the Yaris. and from what i understand, the xD is a 4door Yaris hatch. the unibody chassis is the same, so the strut mounts are the same. easiest r&d ever!

Ive got the TRD strut bar, rear sway, springs and sport shocks. There a little bit of noticeable increase in handling but not extremely noticeable. I still think that if I went with say the KSport coilovers or when Tein comes out with some, that those will dramatically improve handling. The box isnt a handling monster nor was it built to be, its more of a daily cruiser. So I think overall, in order to improve handling you would need to go coilovers and spend about a grand to do do.

yuck. i hate the red. red springs are bad enough. i wish they gave the option of black or a dark grey.
