Default From tC1 to xB2

Hello everyone! Im Joel people call me Olie (oh lee). I've been a scion guy for a couple years now. I actually work for a toyota/scion dealership. I bought a 2005 Scion tC about 2 years ago. I did a bunch of simple mods to it such as led swapped gauges, trd springs, trd exhaust, and a couple other simple things. Earlier this week i purchased a 2012 Scion xB2 (my first brand new car). It's super white, a 5 speed, and has the optional Trd 19's in matte black. The first day i took it home i installed my 12 in polk audio dxi subwoofer (love the rca's in the factory head unit ). Getting it tinted later this coming week, hopefully getting some coilovers and all that soon as well :D. But anyway here are some pics of my first scion and my newest one!

great looking wheels, I almost pulled the trigger on those new matte bblack ones, much better than the older trds.

and your gopro pic is sweet, I just got a gopro black hero3 so I'm still experimenting with it. been to bussy messing with helmet mounts for mtb, didn't even think of taking pics of the xb2 with it lol!

Amazing, how nice that white looks. The girl that I bought mine from at the local dealership (Winnie!), asked...."are you sure you want white?" I might send her a picture of yours, along with mine, to show her just how nice they can look, with a few additions her & there!

From the pics of your earlier ride, I'm sure this one is headed into deep water! Great start!

Definitely check out ksport if you're looking for coils. A couple of us on here run them, and LOVE them due to their unlimited adjustablilty and the fact that they are super comfy. If you're looking to save some green, I did a full write up on an ebay intake and header around here somewhere...

Edit: Here it is! https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=200725

The intake and header really wake the xb2 up, and since we have the scuba, it doesn't cause any rasp!

Welcome to the toaster club!

thank you sir! I'm thinking im going to just get an axle back exhaust or make one myself and that'll be as far as the engine stuff goes haha. i did remove the pointless snorkel off the intake box and now you can actually hear the intake when i give it a bit more throttle. But thanks for the heads up! i'll keep that in mind!

Nice color choice, love the white on the xb2's! I need to remove the resonator on mine too, have had axel back Concept G for 5 years now and haven't really heard it's full potential yet.

They were like 40 bucks they are the grimspeed or something speed brand on ebay lol just make sure when you put them on use masking tape around the lug when you tighten them. Being that they are forged aluminum they are pretty easy to scratch up and the tape will protect it.
