Or do i really have to zip tie it to the lower grill?

 

I got mine straight of the delivery truck basically and had the dealer refrain from drilling into my bumper. I folded the top of my plate over, folded the bottom (still allowing full view of REG stickers), and zip tied from the back. Never been stopped for it and had one officer stop me to talk about every other violation he could see. My full tinted front windshield and altered front plate have so far gone un-noticed.

Mine is totally set back in the lower grill area. I think it is super clean....you can't see the zip ties on mine unless you are inside the bumper. I drilled tiny holes in the folded over portion of the plate so the ties could just loop through the factory holes and not be seen.

Contact (GreyFox). He has the best solution I have seen to date. He has an xD RS1.0 utilizing the how hook slot for his custom fabricated license plate holder.

 

i have the bracket... www.eight08customs.com there is no listing for the 2 gen but the reg xb one fits,,

 

so would it work on the 2nd gen?
