Think I'm done with scion... Toyota rebadging scion???

We’re no strangers to the youthful Scion xB, but as the brand is exclusive to North America, Australians are. That may soon change, as Toyota Australia announced it plans on launching the Rukus -- a badge-engineered xB -- later this year.

Well, the xB was not originally a scion, it was a toyota badged bb. The tC was the first one that was pretty much engineered completely as a Scion. While it just shared a platform with a toyota, the other two were pretty much the same car as their Toyota counterpart with some modifications.
So I dont know why you would be all upset because they are re-badging the new xB to be a toyota again

Well the current xB is just a Corolla Rumion or something in Japan, right? So it's not even necessarily that they're "rebadging" a Scion - they're just expanding the market for the Rumion and giving it a different name.
I honestly don't see what the problem is.

im actually kinda stoked for this..the new bumper looks more agressive but still clean. and if you look closely you can see a diff ring around the projector on the headlights...maybe halo?

Something tells me that the picture that Toyota Australia used for their Rukus may be a one off unit: has anyone seen a factory heavy metallic speckled paint job before?
BTW... If someone decided to get a lift kit for their Rukus, would they be raising a Rukus? (I hear the groans already!)

So if that's based on an xB2 how much work did they do to get the 5x100 Corolla wheels to fit on it??? Regardless, I think its cool. There are a lot of skilled automotive enthusiasts in Australia. It will be nice to see how they interpret the box.
Why thank you Dark Gecko... I've been known to have some clever quips from time and again. And yes... that series is extremely retarded. You know it's bad when even the actor who plays edward scoffs at the movie in the audio commentary. HA

Lol, good one. Just an on the side remark, that series is retarded!
