Does anybody know if you can do any towing with the new XB? I have a small boat that I would need to take to local lakes. Does anyone know if the rear bumper height is the same as the old XB? The engine in the old XB probably couldn't pull it out of the water. With the new horses under the hood I would think towing would be doable. Talked to the dealer and they have no clue. I would like to have two scions in the drive way. The XA is getting bored.

i asked when they had an xB towing something in the training modules for salespeople.

I called Curt who makes the hitch for the old XB and its a no go on the new XB yet. They even checked engineering. If there was a hitch it probably won't be out for a few months! I need a new vehicle within a few weeks so it looks like the new XB is out...Why can't they make this tow 1000 lbs? Even a Rav4 can tow 1500!

Hell, my first Fiero could tow 1000 lbs, and that was with 9.75" solid disks. I once towed about 1800lbs with it, but 1000 was the rating. Don't look at me, it is U-haul's fault!
