Trade in Value of xB2?
For anyone that traded in an xB2, what kind of value did they allow? I'm pretty sure I remember reading that a couple folks here traded for the RS-5.0 xB2
KBB and Edmunds don't list used value for the 08 yet.
Any dealers here want to give me a good idea?
2008 Classic Silver xB2
7400 miles
Scion Navigation
TRD 19s
Rear Spoiler
Cargo Liner
C-Pillar Storage
Cargo Net
Carpeted floor and Cargo Mats
Rumion Splash Guards
I think that is is. Due to the amount I put down, I have no doubt I would get pay-off, I just don't want to eat that much of the value. I would probably try to sell outright first, maybe even sell some of the accessories separately, but trading is always an option.
Thanks,
Dan.

You're going to get more if you sell it privately.
I don't see the dealer giving you more than $15k, and most likely, it'll be closer to $13k. Privately, you should get close to $17k.
When I tried to trade my '03 Mini, the KBB private sale was $15.6k, the trade-in value was $13.4k, the dealer offered the "Mannheim" price of $11.2k. I didn't even counter offer. I needed $12.6k to make the deal and they weren't going to come up to that. They're in the business of making money not making it easy for you.
Set a value in your head before you even go to the dealer, and don't accept any offer below your price. And be prepared to walk away still owning the Silver one.

I think a dealer would MAYBE give you 15k max. You do have alot of extra goodies that are worth alot. Definetly try to sell it privately to get the most.
What do you plan to replace it with? G/L!
