Default Trailer Hitch

Ok so i'm pretty sure i remember reading on here somewhere that there is a trailer hitch for the 08 xb but i cant seem to find it on here again. does anyone have pics and pricing with wiring. Also what part of my waranty will i be voiding? all i need to tow is a small trailor and my atv. (my dad wont let me use his new truck) Thanks lots

If you need someone to install this for you check www.racknroad.com. They have a number of locations in the Sacramento area. They typically charge $90 for the hitch install and $25ish for the wiring install + parts.

i thought i read in the manual that they suggest not towing. are you guys towing or using it for a bike rack?

I have a Curt hitch on mine. I think it cost me about $125.00 or so. I bought it online somewhere. It takes about ten minutes to install. I bought the hitch so I can tow my trailer with my ATV on it. It works great and I can's even feel the weight back there.

Most of these are for hitch carriers or bike racks.......you are correct, the manual says no towing what-so-ever. Tow at your own risk......it's not that our xB's can't handle it, it's that Scion technically can void warranty on any part of your drivetrain if they can prove it was due to towing.
