Is maintenance a pain in the butt for it? Or is it pretty easy cleaning the existing filter?

 

cleaning a filter is pretty easy. I'd say the hardest part would be removing the filter itself, which isnt too difficult

 

Yes, that's what I mean. How long do you think it would take you to uninstall the filter so you can get to the point of cleaning it?

 

Keep in mind, it's not something you have to clean all the time. I don't have one but from where the airbox is located, youd have to jack the car up, remove the wheel, take out the fender liner and then open up the airbox. It would be the same amount of work for any other CAI with the filter down there. But like I said, it's not something you have to clean all the time.

 

havent had the chance to replace my xb filter but on my tc i just replace the filter
