I was bored so I was reading some reviews on the new xb, and I came across this...


The boxy xB, dubbed the urban utility, has been the cornerstone model with the broadest appeal among Scion buyers. According to Scion the biggest complaint was a lack of power. This has been addressed in the new xB, which will be powered by the same 158-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine found in the sporty tC coupe. What's more the optional supercharger from the tC will also be available, which boosts horsepower 25 percent.
Maybe I missed the part about the optional supercharger? Was this just based on early rumors? is this a possibility in the coming months? am I high?

from what i have been told, there will be a supercharger or is already, it had to be tweeked to fit in the xB, i may be wrong though

No, they are saying that the TRD sc kit that is made for the TC can probably be retrofit to the XB

No mention yet as an accessory--both the supercharger and the intake were shown at the backstage events. I assume they need further refinement and/or certification.
