Default Wheel well issue

So long story short. lost splashgaurd. and been having issues since. now have a huge hole in my driver side front wheel well. kinda of an issue. my tires rubbed it while driving on a long trip (music too loud didn;t hear) sooo idk what to do. im debating going to dealer tomorrow and seeing if it can be considered warranty work. i dont have 30k yet. and i was in college with no dealerships around so maybe some leeway. underbody panels shouldnt just fall off the car. we will see. in the meantime anyone got an idea? can you buy a new wheel well? or do u have to replace EVERYthing. here are pics!

this all happened before i lowered the car. way before. i just drove home and had something fall off the car. it was dragging bad on the pavement then broke off. so now its two independent pieces swinging

So you're saying it was something to do with your previous wheels and tires? I guarantee that wouldn't happen stock.

Still, if nothing's rubbing now, perhaps you could achieve a warranty replacement, but if they see rub marks, they probably won't go for it. Yep, all the panels can be replaced, TRDSparks for instance, but it'll involve a few dollars . Just be dead sure there's no longer any rubbing, and if there is, fix it!

If you still have any loose panels, get whatever snaps and perhaps bolts are needed to secure them -- those parts are way less expensive than the panels themselves.

how i think. i go to school near a lake. ice froze off the orginally splash guard. literally. so now this piece has been hanging loose. it looks liek the screw that holds it is there. but the paneling has a tear where the screw would go. hence why its flapping everywhere. but as of now. no dragging. so im going to detach my front underglow tube. and hope its warranty replaceable. if not. gonna have to diy. and order the parts

same exact thing happened to me
on my passenger side wheelwell the plastic lining for that wheel well just tore off and flew across the freeway

check this place out

im thinking about just replacing it. im only lowered on trd springs so thats not a very significant drop. as for solving the problem of why its happening im not really sure :/

That is an easy replacement part - should be able to find on the net and avoid the dealership. Alternatively, you could just dremel out the pieces and leave it open if you plan on going low later. If it happened once it is likely to happen again.

well i just found the parts. if i can get it replaced for free. i plan on it. it wouldn't be that big of an issue except that hole is right where my CAI is. so right now im running a SRI cause water going up that pipe is a bad idea.

I would just remove the wet air intake and stay short ram i have seen quite a few instances where those things cause problems.

Damn, that's a new one for me. I've had chunks of ice and snow behind my tires before, but never anything up front. If that's what happened, definitely worth a try at warranty -- good luck dude!
