I bought my wife an 06 XB 3 months ago. I loved it. When I saw the 08 last week I ordered one. Should have the crushed berry in about 8 days. Is the new engine a big difference in acceleration? I only took it for a short ride but was happy.

 

HUGE Difference!! You will love it but Do not let the wife drive it, You mamy not get it back Plus the transmission is awesome to have both I think personally.

 

We went to look at the '08 xB today. I do like the interior changes, larger engine, etc....but I am still fond of the original xB's more boxy shape. We may purchas one soon but I hope I don't regret getting rid of my '04 xB ( i think it may one day be a collector car)....can't say the same about the new body version.

 

I like the idea of having both. I wonder how long it it take to see if the original does become a collectors item.

 

My 05 Black Cherry was totalled by an inattentive female. Only 3 available in SE through Carmax. Loved it so much got a new one. Plus walked away froma 40 mph T-boning accident with only sore ness. Not even a bruise. FEEL VERY SAFE IN THESE VEHICLES. Especially with side and seat airbaggs that oldder ones did not have.
