Default Yet ANOTHER new xB2 owner - Classic Silver

I've been lurking for a couple months, have had my xB2 for about 2.5 weeks now, and figured it was time to say "Hi." This is now my daily driver, and for what I wanted it for, is perfect.

(sorry the color is a tad odd - the sun was going down and it was extremely orange/pink)

Obviously has the TRD 19s and the rear spoiler - I also got the NAVI head unit, the C-pillar storage pockets, and the cargo net. A few more things to come, but nothing too major, as I want to keep it as a nice, quiet, comfortable daily driver.

Anyway, enough for the introduction..!!!

Nice pictures. How do you like it so far? We just picked up our SW a couple of weeks back.

Honestly, I love it. Every other vehilce I own (three others), is modified, loud, and not very good on gas, I've been thinking about getting something that was quiet, decent on gas, functional, and still had somewhat of a personality. I narrowed it down to the Honda Element SC and the xB. I honestly like both, but the Scion won out. Even with everything I added to it, it still came up about $6000 cheaper then the Element SC would have been.

I think the '08 xB is a "sleeper" in the compact vehicle market. I can't believe the amount of standard options/features you get for the price. Pretty amazing. The interior space also amazes me. I'm 6', 210lbs, and have a TON of room. It almost makes me feel like a kid again when I'm driving it. :D

Definitely made the right choice between the element and xB.

Great choice- I was also looking at an Element. However, the Element would have been 5 years old with 50k miles and only 4k cheaper. I loved the fact that the 08's are still a novelty and a relative rare site, plus it had better than Element safety features- can't top it!

I have had both now... an '05 Element and now an '08 Scion. The Element just has no personality compared to the xB IMO. I get looks, people pointing, questions, etc EVERYDAY my xB gets out... didn't so much happen that way with the "E". My E also had tint, rims, etc but was just boring.

BTW, good color choice. Silver is the fastest and gets the most looks from the pretty girls

Nice pics! I actually like the way the pics look with the sun hitting it like that. Some pro photographers probably wait around for hours for the exact moment to get a shot like that. :D

Hahaha. I figured that would happen, and that thought almost prevented me from going with the TRD wheels. You appear to have good taste.

I don't have fogs - yet, and against my better judgement probably will end up with springs of some sort. I have three other modified vehicles, and purchased this one to have a nice, quiet, daily driver. I keep telling myself I'm not going to mod it - so far it isn't working.

Well i think buying a Scion and not modding it is sacreligious!

And for the TRD rims... i love how they look too. I figure it this way.. we all have the same body style, same interior pretty much, same this and that... heck.. wheels are just one more thing... theres still a bunch more that can be modded to be different! right?

Love it! I wish I had got those rims on my Silver toaster too. Maybe one day. I'm happy with the 16" Enkei's though. Congrats!
