For the guys out there riding around with air ride, what setup are you guys using. Seems like there are a few diffirent options to go with, from using Scion Pros front strut kit, Randode's kit, or just going with Universal Air's bag over strut design, which would give the best option for being low and still having a good ride?

 

UAS that is all.

 

You could run what Pasquale and Grant (MaxBoostnumbers) and miketf1 have. K-Sports with UAS bags. Seems like they've been having good luck. VIP community does this quite a bit.
Or just run the Randode struts with bags.

 

I thought about doing the K sport option as well, just didnt make alot of sense to me to buy a coilover setup, just to get the front shocks. Those would be some expensive front shocks

 

Randode would be the way to go. Probably the way I'd go if I were to bag my xB.

 

I've had good luck with my Air Lift (Easy street) kit. Doesn't go as low as Randode but is easy to put in on your own. Best bet would be to try and ride in cars which have the different kits in them to see how they ride.

Well the whole car is getting bagged, the front is the only part I have not really figured out which way to go. The rear is the easy part, Randode mounting kit for the rear with Slam Re's, maybe alittle more fender work because of my wheels and we are done.
Now the front is what has me thinking, is it worth the extra money to go with a kit like Randode's that is already prefab and just bolts in or just use the factory struts, slide some UAS bags on top of them and call it a night. Would Randode's kit make me sit that much lower, and ride that much better?
And there is NO ONE near me that has a bagged XB to compare with LOL

 

My front setup is probably 1off. I have OEM front struts, that have been modified by Realcamber.com's ViPDanCar, Randode Tophats, and UAS bags. I love the setup, and the only way i'd change it up is if i'd get randode's fronts for my xB.

 

Dancars work is amazing. If I dindt have the k-sports I would have used Dancars set-up. There are a lot of guys in socal running his front bag/strut setup and I have never heard one bad thing about them.

Slam Specialties and UA have their following. I just use UA in all of the kits I sell. UA is used all over the world and that speaks volumes to me.

Ok, from what I am seeing and reading, Randode's Air Stunners are just factory front struts pre welded and fitted with the UAS Air House bags, so that they are just a simple bolt on set? Is this correct?

 

for the 2nd gen xB, they're a completely fabricated piece with a replaceable shock cartridge.

 

Randode's AirStunner = CNC Plasma cut pieces, custom fabricated, bolt on, easily replaceable bags, and different damper choices (KYB cartridge choices). Randy's setup is very nice and also one of the lowest + affordable for a bolt in solution. EasyStreet would be another good choice if you just want bolt on air without having to rob a bank for the setup...

 

If you are already going Randode for the rear I would keep it consistant and do the same for the front.

VERY TRUE. I believe Randy only uses SS and Dancar likes to use UAS. Just stick to one brand and make it easier on yourself.

 

Well the reason I am going with the Slam bags for the rear is because i already have them from another project. As far as the air ride goes, the only thing I need is just the front setup with the struts. See I have had many bagged rides, just everything has been trucks so I didn't really have any knowledge of what a good air ride strut would be.

 

Stay away from easy street!!!! Poor design
